Just as the title says. I keep getting recruiters asking me if I am interested, and when I say i am in CAS, they immediately act shocked. But other than possibly a lower tax rate, they can normally offer no real compelling reason why I should leave CAS to join a PC Corp. The sheer number of people logged into CAS at any given time is a huge benefit I think, and I doubt too many PC corps can't boast that amount. Also, to be very new player friendly, while still having many vets logged in and engaged, seems to be a real asset also.
Now I know not all NPC corps are the same, and maybe in CAS we have some advantages that many others do not. But for someone sitting in an NPC corp, what compelling reasons are there to jump to a PC corp instead?
And before this gets too far along, proposed changed will allow NPC corp members to participate in FW possibly real soon, so that one valid argument may be null and void anyway. |

So, 54 views... and only a mining corp can offer any slight advantages? Albeit a recruitment plea. Much of what you state a mining corp can offer an NPC corp can also... and CAS does provide most of what you say. But I am not into mining. And I am not sure it is enough to be a compelling argument.
So is the only major reason to join a PC corp because all the cool kids are doing it? Who do those taxes go to anyway? |

I didn't mean it as an insult, so I hope you didn't take it as such.
Again, maybe CAS is a different breed. We have sub groups for every activity that has been listed here. The same folks in chat every day. Forming up fleets for some runs. Etc... etc... so maybe I don't see this through 'typical' NPC corp lenses. |

Thanks... and Undomiel, i think you nailed it. CAS has player corp sub divisions, with alts in main CAS, etc... just as you have stated. I can see the control aspect being a big deal for many corps, and there are definitely advantages there. |
